Grunge rock, similar to Pearl Jam or a heavier Kings of Leon. Singer sounds a bit like an American Ozzy Osbourne. Standout tracks are 4, 6, 7, 8 (especially 8). POSSIBLE FCC VIOLATION on track 5, but uncertain. Please edit if you find that it’s not a violation.
1) People (3:33): power ballad driven by heavily distorted guitars and soaring solos.
2) Sore Loser (3:53): Midtempo heavy classic rock, more epic guitar solos.
3) Terra Strutter (3:26): Bluesy rock with lots of power chords
**4) Empty Traces (4:48): Slow hard rocker.
5) Search You Out (3:26): POSSIBLE FCC VIOLATION: “fuck” (I think) at 1:34 and 3:00. I might be misinterpreting the lyric there though. lots of distorted guitar and a slight country feel. The most Kings of Leon-esque song on the album.
**6) Vultures Await (3:36): Midtempo, more distorted and wailing guitars.
**7) (Try and) Walk Like Me (4:01): Heavy rocker with epic guitar solos and soaring chorus
**8) Cold Days Night (4:46): Starts with ambient noise and crowd voices. Song kicks in at 0:25. Introductory guitar solo rocks. Song is low-to-mid-tempo
