This gave me goosebumps. German pianist Hauschka (aka Volker Bertelmann) and Icelandic cellist Hildur Gudnadottir recorded a set of Improvised pieces inspired by various shades of blue at a water themed festival. Frothy piano, dark cello play perfectly off each other creating a sound so much greater than seems possible. Incredible. They're the piano / cello equivalent of the Gunn-Truscinski duo. Recalls Keith Jarrett, ECM

*1. (5:35) Ping pong percussion, subtle cello, delicate piano
*2. (6:55) Low clicking, more prominent melancholic cello, swelling piano, counterpoint
**3. (7:24) Low drone layered with melancholy bowing and a raga flavor
**4. (6.09) Minimal dirge, dark oozy
*5. (8:45) Quiet, clicks and clacks
*6. (7:29) Expectant, joyous, swirling interplay
