Former Slowdive-r, Simon Scott pursues looser structures, open spaces, and different ways to sustain, break down, and obliterate the washes of bliss he creates. Touches of trippy electronics and jazzy percussion. Instrumental rock and ambient like only a former shoegazer and texture-phile could dish up. Reversed textures, keys, loops, bells, indecipherable vocals, and guitars round out the sound. A wet dream for fans of Slowdive, Fennesz, thisquietarmy, Labradford, and Bowery Electric. Highly recommended.

1. Reverberating, thick, sampled ambient textures with guitar. (3:30)
*2. Jazzy walking bass and percussion, sharp guitar feedback and trippy shred. (4:33)
3. Distant, simplistic piano keys give way to a relaxing, post-rock groove. (6:11)
*4. Fuzzed out dreamrock on quaaludes dissolves into a beautiful, gelatinous, static-y, ambient march. (8:30)
5. Droning loop with lots of feedback fixates on more minimalistic texture. (4:23)
6. Dreamy tapestry of guitars and synths; cut-up post-rock feel. (5:16)
*7. Uneasy amalgam of twiddling, twang, and washes. (4:05)
8. Harsher distortion noise leads dreamrock. Sujo with the elements separated a bit more, kind of like how oil separates in salad dressing. (3:58)
