Minimal electronic. Lots of beats with ambient in there, too. Is this minimal techno? The second half of the album sounds a lot like Gas. I’m no expert on that style, but I can say it’s sexy 4/4 dancy electronic beats with atmospheric pads. The first half of the album is closer to reference points like loscil, Praguedren, Starcircleanatomy. Generally long (6-7 min) tracks with plenty of space and room to build. Berlin composer wrote the album during a snowstorm. No FCCs, all instrumental. *1. Mostly ambient synths; slow eerie nighttime music. (7:15) *2. Field recordings, found sounds, and lovely tape experiments. Wind-swept hypnotic ambience. (6:26) 3. Rolling waves of distorted samples; very restrained, chill electronic rhythm. (6:32) 4. Spacious echoey reverberations + beefy bass. (6:43) 5. Galactic, delayed synths, sexy space beat comes in w/ bass drum. (6:22) 6. Simple loop soup, minimal clubby churn. (7:39) 7. Bobby, stripped-down chill house(?) (7:22) *8. Weird intergalactic, 2-chord, warped electronic dub disco. (7:09) 9. Phasered, repetitive space trip-disco. (6:55) 10.
