One 48 minute track. Right there, that will catch the attention of a few djs. Slow building, subtle layers of low-end hum, non-abrasive twinkling, and static. It’s not like Jliat, though, more like listening to electric storms in the wind out of an apocalyptic tale. Crawlingly slow. At ~16 minutes in, the layers envelop and the minimal droning rings in your ears. Then, looping electronics and a sequenced drone provide a bearskin blanket. The last bit is warm ambience not too far from Aidan Baker. “This work is intended to be listened to at a relatively low volume.” For fans of surgery, refrigerator music, and Libellula.
