Third Man, like all great labels, has a “sound”, its being rootsy Americana if not outright Detroit swamp dirt rock. This stuff is its embodiment: a duo of miscreants who pull out all the stops and irreverently sing about disappointing their well intentioned parents, and, concomitantly, the world.
