Third studio album from Michigan native. Williams has some strong pipes, a solid group of players behind her and some serious songwriting skills. Very soulful sound, with some great blues, hints of gospel. Guitar, bass, drums, organ, horns. Strong stuff throughout. No FCC’s.

1. *(4:47) Slow / Mid. Meticulous, strong vocals. Good vibe, with bass, organ, drums, great horns, guitar.
2. (3:35) Mid. Spoken intro. Nice groover, solid beat, guitar and keys solos.
3. (5:09) Slow / Mid. Title track. Mellow, soulful ballad, beautiful guitar solo.
4. *(3:38) Mid. Upbeat, powerful vocal, rockin’ bluesy groover, great guitar.
5. *(2:50) Mid. Bass, drum, vocal start, then band kicks in. Rockin’, jazzy, bluesy. Blisterin’.
6. (3:11) Mid. Mellow, bluesy, gospel-tinged. Nice.
7. (3:21) Mid. Rocker with strong vocal, big drums, organ, guitar.
8. *(4:29) Slow / Mid. Spoken intro. Easy-going song about getting back home. Very soulful, heartfelt.
