WOOHOO for female technohouse producers, including Peggy Gou. Get your pure groove on with her lo-fi electro tracks that don’t get mired in too much instrumentation or layering. The offerings can be boring at times in their simplicity, fading into the background, but the album provides a good soundtrack for letting your mind wander around a bit (and maybe your dancing legs).

Recommended tracks: 1, 2

1. Gou Talk (5:47) - Upbeat spacey head-bobber. Instrumental undulating up and down and up and down synth between two notes, punctuated by keys.
2. Maktoop (7:55) - Instrumental track with bright marimba and strummy base. Pleasant fading to the background, like video game music in a bright RPG.
3. Rose (7:45) - Spoken-word modulated lyrics musing on roses, then a mid-tempo funky synthy breakdown that doesn’t really build anywhere.
