Spacey minimalist beats suspended in ambient washes. Bladerunnercore. The excellent debut LP from Londoner Arthur Cayzer, who first made waves in 2010 – 2012 with a string of singles and EPs on the always-reliable R&S Records. All songs instrumental and FCC Clean. Recommended if you like the woozy percussion of Clark, GAS, and Objekt, or the more bliss-out leaning aesthetics of Boards of Canada, Bee Mask, Panabrite, or Pulse Emitter. Start with 1,7,3,4

*1. (4:44) Bright and shimmering. Repetitive chords lend this a heavy Philip Glass vibe 2. (4:52) Warm and floaty with gentle synth lines *3. (4:18) Calm, slow-building ambient with bits of deconstructed beats and crystalline apexes—reminds me of Floating Gardens or No Mind Meditation *4. (7:04) Gentle flutes, gurgling watery noises, repetitive synth arpeggios 5. (4:50) Dense, atmospheric, staticy. Lots of thematic changes 6. (3:00) Deep and meditative. Minimalist with drawn-out, extended synthesizer chords *7. (3:22) Wind chime intro, rainfall samples, bubbly synth spirals. Spacey minimal outro 8. (5:16) Static and looped horn samples over a plodding synth line 9. (3:58) Vangelis-style synthesizer buildup. Long babbling brook outro
