Guitar jazz, and the first album led by Parker, a sideman in the Tortoise/Chicago Underground kinds of bands.

Gentle feel overall, like "normal" guitar jazz with nicely complex writing and soloing and a pleasant atmosphere. Plus a couple of clattery free-improv tracks just to show Parker's not going entirely soft. Not sure this is ground-breaking, but it's very enjoyable, not to mention a treat for those who've been waiting for Parker to strike out on his own.

- Calm
*- Uptempo, quiet feel
- Oddball intro, gentle groove
- Noisy improv
- Midtempo; gently creeping theme
- Mid/fast
*- Free improv, noisy
*- Upbeat, mid/fast
*- Fast and loose, in a stop-start pattern
- Midtempo
*- Midtempo jazz walk, very much "regular" jazz, with eerie intro
- Exotic flute, fast laid-back rhythm
