Solo acoustic guitar from Elliott Sharp, who's best known for raucous avant-garde works that span from string quartets to big electric string instruments of his own creation.

Here, Sharp shows off some sublimely fast finger picking -- think John Fahey. Great, melodically pleasing stuff that treads some abstract territory but hits a lot of blues-influenced patches. Among the highlights is track 8, with its rapid hammer-on fingerings.
