Droney indie rock/ shoegaze/ post rock on the 5th album from this Bloomington, IN band. “Offshore” was a song on their 2002 album Let Us Garlands Bring and this is the “director’s cut.” The first and last two tracks are long (>8 minutes) while the middle tracks are shorter. Lots of snare-heavy drumming and echoed guitars. Some are instrumental and some have vocals. Given that it’s an album based on one song, it does have a fairly continuous sound/ feel to it.

My picks: 2, 3, 6 FCC: Clean
1. military drumming and a wash of guitars. instrumental
2. med-slow echoed guitars and feedback. Male vocals with female harmonies
3. subdued guitars and vocals with drums in the background. builds in the middle of the song. my favorite of the album
4. female vocals over drums and subtle guitars.
5. continues from 4. instrumental. Feedback and atmospheric notes for the last ~3 minutes
starts quiet. builds up a bit. instrumental, dark with a wash of guitars and strong drumming at points.
