Bar-band sax and harmonica, with twisty modern-jazz composing. It really does rock. (See #11) Lots of crazy sax, straight and hard drum beats, and thick bass guitar. The harmonica gives the band a rockin' sound but is also played like an electric instrument, blazing and buzzy.
1- A rockin' but monotone thumping. A busy 1 minute.
2- Slowish and swampy. Quiet bass intro.
3- Jazzy stroll. Happy. Starts abruptly.
4- Like honky tonk but with complex chamber-music writing. Interesting, and yet still rocking.
5- Bouncy modern-jazz feel. Fast snaky sax solo.
6- Blazing, kind of a chaotic beat
7- Cerebral and slowish. Sparse, with a spazzy harmonica solo in there.
8- Slow, like a 110-degree day. Then a brutal sax/harmonica fight breaks out.
9- Kind of a swingy blues, mid/fast. Buzzy harmonica!
10- Slowish. Bluesy pace with a bright theme.
11- A bit of a headbanger. Blazing harmonica solo.
12- Bouncy mid/fast. Fun.
13- Mid/fast jaunty piece. Joy sax solo early on.
