Rob Symeonn – No More (promo cd)

Very roots, very Rasta Reggae. Lovely singing voice, some nice remixes – ear candy for lovers of Roots Rock Reggae music.
1. 4:04 **strong midtempo roots skank, dubby.
2. 4:18 ***original of track 1, with horns – very roots.
3. 4:05 ****midtempo martial riddim, smoky vocals, female backing vocals.
4. 6:20 ***occasional electronics intro (careful on the seques), then downtempo, very sparse riddim, a bit nyahbinghi, a bit electronic.
5. 3:57 ****original of track 4 – very roots, with melodica.
6. 3:23 ****downtempo, downbeat riddim, deep male vocals.
7. 4:07 ***downtempo, dubby with doubletime percussion, sweet singing.
8. 3:37 ****downtempo shuffle – extra point for “pork eater, piggy wiggy.” Grotty!
9. 3:32 *****lovely little piano and bass super-dub, love song.
10. 4:00 ***downtempo skank with electric guitar, sweet singing belies the call to revolution. Yippee!
