Mostly good local (San Jose) new wavey punk that’s big on choruses. Unline a lot of SJ bands they often write good lyrics – that is writing about stuff other than getting wasted & riding skateboards. Tracks 14-16 were recorded @ KFJC.

(((1))) Funny lyrics about the local dive restraurant (off Bascom in SJ-open 24 hrs.). OK but WAAAY too redundant.
(((2))) Again leans too heavy on the chorus but otherwise pretty good.
((((3)))) Excellent punky new wave with good dual vocals.
((((4)))) Classic punk riff into moody dual vocals and “dunt-dunt-dunt” rhythm.
(((5))) So-so new wavey pop with good topical lyrics.
(((6)))) (FCC “Fucking” sung twice) Funny mid-paced tune with well-put together build up & dual vocals. Some metallic crunch guitars near the end. Plus, clown fetish lyrics.
((((7)))) Fast & punky tune with an oddly early Bad Religion meets X vibe.
(((8))) Slow ballad into poppy punk not far off from Holly & The Italians or early 90’s SJ punkers – Red #9. A little too much chorus though.
((((9)))) Tight riff & good lo-fi keyboard sound, simple & catchy poppy punk.
(((((10)))) Fast punk with the now usual dual vocals and simple approach.
((((11)))) Keyboard-laden, driving punk & new wave mix.
((((12)))) Straight up new wave then fast punk at the 2 min. mark. Well done vocally, lyrically & all else.
((((13))))) Solid cover of the Devo classic.
((((14)))) Rockin’ punk with a nice chorus + wailing guitars.
((((15))))) Fast, poppy punk with good dual vocals.
((((16)))) Bare bones riffing but slightly jagged tempo with a huge a 70’s-early 80’s LA punk style.
