Heavy rockin’ mix of Doom Metal, 70’s inspired Hard Rock & odd bits of jazzy, 60’s-early/70’s style rock jams. The band features KZSU’s own DJ Cannibal on guitar plus vocals on #1, #3 & #5 (who strangely enough sounds like a metalized D. Boon of the Minutemen crossed with Magnus Pelander from Witchcraft). Seems to mix stuff like Pentagram (US), Sir Lord Baltimore. Their bassist, who has higher, albeit not all together but still interesting voice, sings on #2 & #4. Off to a good start.

((((1)))) Straight up 70’s heavy boogie into raw crushing Doom with more 70’s-80’s underground spirit ‘ala (but not necessarily sounding like) Cirith Ungol with an off center funky/jazzy jam part that is a little TOO misplaced albeit well played
((((2)))) Pentagram/Sleep kinda riffs. Weird vocal and standard D.C. area Sabbath worship. Oddly the spoken part = wrestler Rob Van Damn’s voice?
((((((3)))))) Big doomy riff with that classic Iomni-ish vibrato with good bass & drum work in the middle albeit kinda loose. Reminds me a lot of a heavier version of the Swedish band, Witchcraft and maybe Death SS.
(((((4))))) Riff that recalls Maiden’s “2 Minutes to Midnight/Venom’s “Welcome to Hell” (and so on). Again weird vocals from Basil the bassist but its spirited, basic drumming but pretty catchy plus a good use of flanger.
((((5))))) Epic, true/traditional Doom Metal with a bit of 70’s Heavy Rock/Proto-Metal guitar solos and drum bashing then a strange jazzy jam that’s pretty out of place (that is it has no easy transition) but comes back doomwards. Odd but interesting.
