The first verse delves into his first introduction into hip hop and how he fell in love with the music and created his first crew. Second verse Daddy O drops knowledge of becoming an artist in the genre, from the early demo days, to becoming a part of Stetsasonic and eventually getting signed to a record deal. The third verse goes into the growning within the music business; learing the ropes, and having the experiences of producing both within hip hop and outside of hip hop. The fourth verse is a self reflection oft the overall journey speaking of admiration and respect both for his body of work and hip hop overall. He ends it with the line “And all the music that you know I played a good part/ All glory to god, I had a good start”
