bass clarinets, tenor saxophones, electronics, viola, violin, accordion, piano, skronk, drone, jazz, classical, string quarter, electronics, and more form the jittery, delicate, unsettling, emotive, and unnerving base for pat muchmore's compositions
1- atonal ghostbusters chord progression noise w/ vivacious nasty string swells. really crunchy. a kick in the balls, great stuff.
2- starts quiet, gives way to solo flute, turns into a big fluttery spasm, turs to gorgeous rising vaguely middle eastern classical drama and crescendo the rest of the way
3- crunchy atonal hardcore modern classical skronk rocker entitled shitfuckcumbastard. the riviera during benzie enduced angst.
4- starts with goofy muted horn, gets an accordion drone accompaniment halfway through, alternating between noodling, spaz, and crescendo
5- sparser, warm, encroaching eerie tritones
6-moany accordion waltz, through disturbed corset nightmare territory, howling maidens, eeire strings, art school as fuck
7-menacing dracula tones wrapped tense bowed sorcery, shrill accordions, no bashouts, falling down a spiral staircase kind of feel
8- shrill high pitched slow moving 14 minute string guartet of high tension bashouts and unbridled musical anguish. great chemistry between the musicians on where to rise and fall.
9- lonely reed instrument, emotive , delicate swells
10- pretty, delicate string swells alternated with piano bashouts, then gorgeous piano takes over
11- isolationist piano & swells get the hiccups
12- more relaxed piano and strings piece
13- swelling down the piano river and hitting string rapids
14- gorgeous scratching, escaping, eloping, schizophrenic, gorgeous piece
