Truly one of the most exciting and unique bands of the last five years. From southern Indiana, they’ll hook you from the start w/ their blend of blues and country wrapped around a usually frantic rock beat. The Reverend on slide and acoustic guitar, mandolin, harmonica and vocals, Breezy on washboard and back vocals and Cuz on drums and buckets w/ fantastic lyrics to boot. No FCC’s.
*My Favorites*: All killer, no filler.
1. (2:46) Mid. Classic trance blues beat, sinister vibe.
2. (3:39) Mid. Cymbal strikes, slide gtr, back vcl. steady beat.
3. (3:48) Slow / Mid. Mellow w/ heartfelt slide, back vcl.
4. (4:06) Mid. Upbeat bluesy rocker about an old Chevy truck. Killer.
5. (2:53) Fast. Blazing ditty about the heat ‘n’ bugs. Killer gtr, drums.
6. (3:44) Mid / Fast. Pounding drums, more killer gtr, slight trance.
7. (3:46) Mid / Fast. Feel-good vibe, drums faster than slide, back vcl.
8. (3:55) Mid. Nice picking, big, steady beat, back vcl. Beautiful.
9. (3:19) Mid / Fast. Great mandolin, gtr picking, anti-strip mining tune.
