Bold and brassy modern big band, recorded live at Dizzy’s Club in NY. Chambers is a drummer and here he surrounds himself with players at the top of their game – and everyone gets his chance to shine. Watch out for applause and keep an eye on the levels as it can get quiet at times.
*1. Slow and bluesy intro, much too short.
*2. Upbeat and energetic. Electric with great solos. Hot!
3. Slow and meandering, quiet at times, but great subtlety.
*4. Sexy, sultry Nicole Guiland vocals backed by a tight arrangement.
5. Instant energy, the tempo meanders and the brass solos are hot.
6. Relaxed, almost sleepy then it picks up and the band just jams.
*7. Quiet piano, slow, then picks up. Great sax solo. Yow!
8. A modern big-band arrangement. Mostly mid. With vocals.
*9. Brassy horns take the lead plus Chamber’s amazing drum solo.
10. A tiny bit of Latin, upbeat and fiery.
