Strong new release from the legendary British folk-rocker. Excellent
mix of traditional and original material, with very fine singing and
excellent musicianship.
1 – (3:38) Love’s For Babies and Fools* Slow, sad, nostalgic look at love.
2 – (3:19) Never Put To Sea Boys Mid-tempo seafaring tune, decent.
3 – (6:49) If I Were A Bluebird Slow ¾ time, just so-so.
4 – (3:52) As Fast As My Feet* Up-tempo, danceable, fine track.
5 – (3:37) Father Son Ballad Slow & lovely rendition of son Teddy Thompson’s
haunting song.
