PSYCH-ROCK; BLUES-ROCK; DANCE-PUNK. Relatively new trio gaining popularity in hometown of Austin having toured w the likes of Umphrey's McGee. This is their first album, a 2010 collection of high-quality, high-energy, and dynamic songs written and recorded in their unique style. All songs are pretty great. WATCH OUT, THOUGH -- a lot of the songs end abruptly because some are single-take.
***1. (5:45) Picks up to a dance-like feel, second part of song is bit of a jam
****2. (3:23) Very upbeat, starts with snare roll. Punchy electric guitar, vocals. Some Spanish vocals
**3. (4:41) Slower, slightly eerie? Cool organ. Lyrics repeated. Builds to intensity towards end.
*****4. (5:05) (Minor FCC- "notice a damn thing") Bluesy, great vocals. 3/4 time and slower. Great beat. Just a great song.
***5. (2:34) Instrumental, pretty chill. Medium speed, good driving music?
****6. (3:54) Punky, intense dance beat. Lots of great inuendo. Well done.
**7. (1:05) Instrumental, short interlude. Nothing special.
*****8. (9:43) Interesting beats, very dynamic, very epic. Worth playing it through.
***9. (3:33) Very intense, then very chill, escalates again. Instrumental. Dynamic jam.
