Fine rockabilly and honky tonk country covering themes of lost love, booze,
wandering, misunderstandings. Mostly good material and excellent musical
backing throughout.
– (2:59) Goin’ In Hot Up-tempo country shuffle, catchy.
– (3:30) Food Stamps* Workingman’s lament, whining pedal steel, fine.
– (4:11) Just Left Home* Bluesy, mid-tempo tune, nicely done.
– (3:40) Made For Blood In R&B/Funk style, decent track.
– (3:43) Used To Call It Love* Really pretty crooner, terrific music.
– (3:31) Walk Alone Pounding country rocker, Luella Wood on harmony.
– (3:11) Midnight Train* Up-tempo love lament, rocks, hot lead guitar.
– (3:17) Hurtin’ For Real Weeper duet w/Nikki Lane, decent.
– (2:56) The Reason* Pretty country shuffle dedicated to Mom, sweet.
– (2:41) Love Hangover Mid-up-tempo, title says it all, OK.
– (3:08) Ragman’s Roll Upbeat rocker, dirty electric guitar, decent.
– (2:55) Wanna Go Back* Soft song of longing & regret, lovely, w/Luella Wood.
– (3:49) 25 Lights* Rocking Texas-inspired alien tale, crazy good track.
