1. Let The King Ascend
1:05 intro track. lyrics paying homage to the late great J-Dilla over a very fly track and nice way to start off the album.
2. Who
Remixed version of (Oooh) featuring Redman. This version has a hard-hitting drum and baseline. The lyrics are mostly the same as the original track with a few subtle variations. Nice track!
3. Dilla Plugged In
Very Dope track! I was always a fan of the classic track (Plug Tunin) but this version is next level isn! This Dilla influenced beat and baseline Slaps you in the grill when it drops and keeps ya head nodding! Definitely worth a spin!
4. Goes With The Words
…..and yet another bangin’ joint. This is a remix version of (Potholes in My Lawn) over another Dilla-fied Beat. Another one that I would suggest to put into rotation. Actually this is probably my favorite on the album!
5. Vocabulary Spills
(Itszoweezee) Remix, nice rendition but to be honest I like the original version better. Still this Dilla version is decent.
6. The Pitch
Westcoast Gangsta Boogie flava on this short and sweet track.
7. Taking The Train
(Ego Trip) remix, very dope groove on this track! The beat is sloppy with minimal baseline and hand claps. Chill vibe to this track.
8. Leave your cares behind.
This track has a chill in at the BBQ with the fan vibe to it. Head nod to the Boom Bap beat and the melodic lyrics of a sultry songstress during the hook.
9. O’Shut Up
(Oodles Of O’s) remix, mellow beat under a wavy baseline, classic lyrics.
10. No More No Less
(3 is the Magic Number) remix, hella Boom Bap beat and rhythm with an almost Ice cream truck sample trickling in the background.
11. Marvin Jaye
This track starts off with a marvin Gaye (Sexual Healing) accapella. After a verse or two the beat drops and then a hella-fied Dilla baseline comes in. this is perhaps my least favorite on the album.

For the most part this is a dope album and De La did a great job paying homage to the great J-Dilla and captured his musical essence. Track 3, 4 and 6 are my recommendations.

This album is not fully FCC friendly but the violations are very minor.
