Notable musicians fiddler Brittany Haas, guitarist Jordan Tice and
bassist Paul Kowert team up for a fine album of original instrumentals.
The playing is impeccable and inventive. RIYL Edgar Meyer’s work.
1 – (3:53) Leadfoot* Fine, driving ensemble trio.
2 – (4:13) Down The Hatch* Fine traditional hoedown.
3 – (3:38) Grandpa’s Cheesebarn Lilting, pretty, then dramatic.
4 – (5:09) Monkey Trouble Lazy little music meditation, decent.
5 – (3:18) The Decade* Fine showcase of Haas’s fiddling.
6 – (4:11) Better Off* Lovely melodic waltz, fine.
7 – (3:25) El Camino* Bouncy mid-tempo song, nicely done.
