Heavy post metal completely slathered in dreamy atmospheric elements as to make it unrecognizable as such. Even has screamo vocals, but they are so buried they too sound atmospheric, barely audible mostly. Not sure whether to recommend this to fans of mathy Godspeed, Ride, Tortoise and Do Make Say Think or to those of Isis, Trans Am, Swans and Neurosis. How about both?
1) (3:31) big dream/post rock, double kick drum blasts over half speed mindfulness that kicks into full beat midway, pretty much instrumental, sets the tone for most of the following songs
2) (4:17) barely audible vocs, upbeat dream rock, slightly mathy
3) (2:39) vocals are screamo, audible under an onslaught of ¾ rock
4) (2:08) double time, heavy if not for synth
5) (3:48) big soaring plodding feel
6) (3:18) very post rock, upbeat Trans Am or Do Make Say Think
7) (6:10) big rockin post rock, vocals reappear minimally, wall of sound, false ending around 1 minute left
8) (3:41) big epic rocker, whispered vocs appear late
9) (4:51) slower, dramatic, epic
10) (2:40) upbeat, urgent fast, goes 2/4
11) (0:55) brief minimal piano
