Solo acoustic guitar spinning pretty, melodic instrumentals. It's well mic'ed -- you can hear that tasty sound of fingers against steel strings. Baker's technique has plenty of flourish, best demonstrated on track 5.

The melodies are rich, mellow, and folky -- that he's posed in a sweater on the back cover is telling -- but Baker's well respected in Bay Area music circles. Bruce Ackley of ROVA is a fan, for one. Baker doesn't play at breakneck speed, but on tracks like 'Round Midnight, you start becoming aware that there's a LOT going on; it's richly intricate stuff. I'm impressed.
