Epic performance transferred from reel. Dirgey rocking bad ass rawk. Screaming strat/Marshall guitar and desperate vocals that have an early Henry Rollins rolling around the floor in his gym shorts element. Jammy, from the days when loud guitars still ruled the earth. Loud, heavy, but well played, composed. This was a GREAT band. Songs in sets mostly blend together; I had to work it to separate tracks to my best. Because of that most blend together and if played alone will end cold.
1) (0:19) intro
2) (4:14) steve reich's infamous "it's gonna rain" used as intro and subtle noise bed for a great cover of Hendrix's "Spanish castle magic" blends into next/ends cold
3) (6:53) screamy and dirgey, reminds me of black flag's damaged somehow, blends/ends cold
4) (4:29) rockin, crazed, soaring lead, hilarious sings the blind melon chitlin cheech and Chong song, ends cold'ish
5) (4:03) almost an accessible feel, dark rock
6) (3:40) interlude w PSAs
7) (7:50) slow dark almost bluesy, dramatic, epic stuff
8)* (7:48) intro has host ID the band, they seem to tune but it's the prologue to the song, which is slow, mindful, almost pretty, host IDs band and does a LID at end
9) (5:21) slow sparse beginning highlights crazed desperate vocs
10) (1:17) interlude
11) (3:57) slow dissonant crunchy reminds me of Cows or Heroin Sheiks, ends up thrashy noisey
12) (4:44) come out of noise into a funky rocker screamo, LID at end
13) (2:24) PSAs interlude
14) (5:01) interview
15) (3:01) prerecorded song
