Folk guitar downtuned finger picking in the vein of Leo Kotke or Greg
Brown or Bruce Cockburn but gets somehow lumped into new psyche
because he tends to meander and repeat and groove on a simple
downtuned theme at times and brings to mind of course the master of
them all: John Fahey.
1)* (14:26) begins w slow strums then launches into pleasing downtuned
fingerpicking 2) (3:27) slide, downtuned, slower darker 3) (2:01)
slow, mindful, sounds like a traditional song, cover 4)* (8:16)
lovely feeling, cheery and pretty at first, then comes to false ending
and starts again, like two takes just left together 5) (8:20) begins
a nice slow sway, but then shifts into nice playing a la Greg Brown
6) (2:32) pleasant upbeat bending bluesy. 7) (4:44) very downtuney,
pleasant.
