2015 release fell thru cracks by local new psyche stalwarts, KZSU faves. All instrumental as always, big heavy 70's rock damaged a la Bevis Frond, Bardo Pond. Earlier tracks get pretty guitar rock jammy wanky, revealing their 70's roots. Others fall in line with spacey Krautrock elements we sidled up to. Early Pink Floyd, Wooden Shijps, Lumerians, Neu!, Sunn((O)))
1) (7:44) mid slow Stoney lots of wha wha and jammy 70's lead guitar. 2) (3:45) opens w drum solo, picks up more rockin than previous 3) (7:17) very quiet pretty dual guitars 4) (7:34) droning wall of sustained guitars and subtle synth, almost Sunn((O))) 5) (3:32) a Stoney slow swagger almost early zztop or deep purple strange kinda woman 6)* (8:38) primo pink floydy space rock quiet and tribal set the controls for the heart of the sun 7)* (11:24) starts w quiet solo guitar, then band appears slow dreamy krauty psyche. 8) (8:11) long quiet droney, slow minimal beat, sparse guitar, tambora-like drone, reminds me of the early stooges song that drones on (Anne?) 9) (10:27) big heavy wall of guitar sustain drone with pounding, but subtle, drum 10)* (2:24) cool simple weird rocker, blends well with next despite cold end 11) (5:18) slow tribal plod with droning low end guitar sustains
