A diverse and varied album from this veteran musician with over 30 albums. Officially called “roots music”, it’s really an example of John and many of his talented
musician friends having a good time and creating a unique and multifaceted album. (And the 12 hour recording sessions were supposedly fun and invigorating!).

1. 2:31 med- mix of styles- classical guitar, blues/country/BG/eastern
2. 3:45 med- BG sound with entertaining lyrics
3. 3:42 med- country sound with a little swing influence and wind instruments
4. 3:50 med- instrumental- nice finger picking
5. 3:51 slow/med- instrumental- mainly banjo with drums, Nice Native American flute
6. 2:53 med- interesting story with bluegrass basis, good tune, unusual
7. 2:23 slow- instrumental
8. 4:32 slow- love ballad (reminds me of Willie Nelson)
9. 4:38 slow- song about heartbreak
10. 3:54 med- unique instrumental
11. 3:08 med- traditional bluegrass
12. 4:44 slow- instrumental- pretty classical guitar with violin
13. 6:49 slow/med – great version of Bojangles
14. 3:19 med – spiritual. Female singer with John and BG
15. 9:51 med -crazy fiddling in this story about a fiddler born in 1928
