Leyla McCalla, award-winning singer/cellist with highly educated Haitian parents; former member of the Carolina Chocolate Drops; now lives in New Orleans; one of a kind singer-songwriter; well worth listening to for the music as well as the French and English lyrics; warm, evocative voice
