Shoegaze/lo-fi. Feels like what a soundtrack to a delightful, but sometimes melancholic rainy day would be like if it was slightly distorted/twisted. Play 1, 6, 8. No FCCs detected.
1. (4:08) ** No Interest—Long intro (mish mash of unidentified sounds and dead air/quiet instrumentation), feels like a distorted country ballad, then abruptly cuts to jazz at the end
2. (4:08) * Easy Come/Go—Folk-y, melancholic guitars, transition from rambling to demanding in second half, 4-5 seconds dead air at end
3. (4:25) * I Doughnut Want To Live—Blissful instrumentation, but with an element of distortion, some grim, suicidal lyrics, 5 seconds dead air at end
4. (4:48) * Oh, You Know...—Faint lyrics, drifting, subtle, but stirring instrumentation, starts fading 15 seconds from the end
5. (4:20) * Happenings—Muted, low-pitched vocals, alternates between country and space-like
6. (3:49) *** I’ll Be Around—Ambling, folk-y guitars, piano is beautiful whenever it’s there
7. (4:40) * Eclair’s Recovering—More vocal heavy, somber, grim, contrasting cheer-y accompaniment
8. (5:41) ** Eliza—Dimmed nostalgia, unfocused, but relaxing
9. (5:16) * Ride—Bleary, colorless, but calming
10. (6:25) * Untitled—Floating vocals, dreamy, lulling
11. (4:20) ** You Smell Like Rock ‘n’ Roll—Gloomy, haunting, muted, instrumentation is evocative and well-layered, especially in second half, cuts to just noise in last 10 sec.
