Ex-KZSU staffers specialize in live abstract noise rock with psych and krautrock elements. Despite the title this has zero to do with Xmas music (jokers released this as a stocking stuffer). All instrumental, low fi, excellent. For fans of Oh Sees, F/i, Carlton Melton, et al.
1) (6:56) quiet build up at first then quickly becomes cacophony but melds into a Stoney hypnotic proggy krautrock beat with noise guitar, fades out 2) (1:12) solo drums, tribal pounding, one of three tracks that have an obvious association with the title 3) (4:39) slower plodding feedback driven noise dirge 4) (1:43) another solo drum experiment 5)* (6:41) more upbeat, driving noise rock, melodic treated baseline solos last 2 min, sounds like a delay box with a dying battery 6) (1:05) another solo drummer boy installment 7) (1:56) a total bashout to start then plods out. 8) (9:29) trickles in and becomes epic hypno swirling noise jam. Bill C 2/17
