Wwoman/Let Us Sleep Together. Psychedelic, dreamy indie rock with a few ominous twists in certain songs. Lots of spacey synth give the album its distinct feel, though drums feature heavily on a number of songs, with a few guitar solos here and there. Almost all songs are worth playing on radio if you’re feeling dreamy. This is Wwoman’s first studio album, so expect a lot more from them as they work to continue improving their sound over the upcoming years. Have drawn clear influences from a number of groups – most notably Tame Impala, Deerhunter, and Toro y Moi. Try 2,4,5,1,10

1)*(5:02) Upbeat opening with synth. Strange murmuring noises come in behind the synth and add an offsetting vibe. Opening beat remains same throughout song, 2)**(4:17) Opens with funky, chipper synth, followed by groovy bass guitar and driving drums, 3)(1:09) Short, ominous sounding transition song, 4)**(2:54) Slow beginning that picks up as drums speed up. Nice guitar solo near end, 5)*(4:11) Fast, groovy, disco synth throughout song. Dreamy vocals laced over synth, 6)(2:25) Super fast, oozy synth with drums that drive song in background. Slows down majorly midway through, 7)(5:00) FCC(ass) Lullabye-esque synth that changes tones shifting from dreamy to ominous throughout song, 8)(1:04) Cool, spacey transition song, 9)(2:50) Slow song with electric guitar strumming throughout over synth, 10)*(5:10) Very different from all other songs. Opens with drumming. Sweet guitar solo midway through. Becomes more spacey as song continues.
