You have to hand it to Steve Martin – he wrote all the songs and music and
contributes strong and original banjo playing here.
– (3:12) Santa Fe* Up-tempo love anthem, fun tune.
– (3:22) Caroline Quirky love lament, good playing.
– (3:44) All Night Long* Rocking mid-tempo song of longing.
– (3:10) Canadian Girl* Fine, bouncing ¾ time love song, nicely done.
– (2:00) Office Supplies* Up-tempo instrumental, inventive.
– (4:04) Bad Night Another quirky tune about a bad date, just so-so.
– (3:40) Strangest Christmas Yet* Fun Christmas song, Martin on vocals.
– (1:27) Always Will* Solo banjo frailing, instrumental, lovely.
– (2:59) So Familiar* Ensemble instrumental, mid-up, fine playing.
– (2:46) Nights In The Lab Not recommended.
– (1:46) Angeline The Barista* Mid-up instrumental, some dual banjo.
– (2:35) On The Water* Nice lilting love song, pretty imagery, mid.
– (3:21) Girl From River Run* Fine mid-up courtship song, fine.
– (1:07) Promontory Point* Martin frails another solo, nicely done.
