Simple ambient type music composed on analog synths. Very “synthy” with pulse/sharktooth tones and sine in back. Think Eno, Tomita, Vangelis, Jean Michel Jarre in their thoughtful skillful composition (this isn’t just drone noise). Rudimentary early Moog tones also smack of early Alan Parsons (I Robot).
1) (3:53) total side-B Music For Airports love in the slow harmonizing wave loops 2) (5:41) synth waves, bass synth tones give it a minor feel 3) (1:34) chill brief dark 4) (7:10) this uses nice slapback echo and smacks of Vangelis, Tomita, Jarre in a very nice way 5) (6:13) sparse tones, simple whole notes are hypnotic, a horn type tone appears later that develops into a swell of “strings” making this one more musical and soundtracky 6)* (3:57) very “stringlike” and then a “horn” type melody appears glissando, this one is musical and weird 7)* (6:45) early Alan Parsons’ “I Robot” comes to mind with the amplitude modulation and trippy psych feel
