Evening Machines – Gregory Alan Isakov (2018)

In his 4th release, Colorado based farmer & musician Gregory Isakov has produced an etherial masterpiece reminiscent of the vast expanse and beauty of his home state. The arrangements vary from hauntingly quiet in San Luis, to multi-layered full band sound of Caves, which in my mind is the Indie equivalent of the Beach Boy's classic Good Vibrations. Lyrics are clever if somewhat inscrutable.
