Postpunk/industrial/goth – the fourth release from Detroit-based trio Ritual Howls. Monochromatic and ominous—plenty of disorienting synth/guitar backdrops with deep moody vocals echoing in the dark corners. Great stuff, for fans of Bauhaus, Boy Harsher, Lebanon Hanover, and Depeche Mode. All tracks FCC Clean. Try: 5, 3, 6, 8

1. (4:43) Echoed vocals, gentle synthesizer elements, twangy guitars with a bit of a blues/country feel
2. (3:50) Skippy beat with sparse, pained vocals
*3. (3:23) Driving with a sense of urgency, frenzied guitars, harsh percussion
4. (4:06) Menacing rumbling bass over a low-fi industrial beat. Nostalgic feel
*5. (4:15) Hypnotic thundering drums with great synth lines and layered vocals
*6. (5:04) Haunting lyrics, sparse guitars, grinding beat with a variety of percussive elements
7. (5:24) Midtempo guitar-centric, mostly instrumental. Strummy with blues elements
*8. (4:40) Swirling beat, melancholic, desperate vocals
