Like it says- Gospel. Vocal hamonies made to move you. Most’s pretty great.
1.Doo-wop gospel
2.Nice guitar work in the intro. Sultry vocals (nothing like JB!)
3.An old standard done call-and-response style, the lead nearly scats (amazing)
4.bluesy, mid-slow beat
5.Freedom song, fem singer... The other side of Screamin’ Jay :-)
6.Slow tempo picks up and backup singers join in, church organ
7.slow m vox, this is too low-energy for me
8.folky, acoustic guitar & fem vox, 60’s sing-in
9.easy even tempo, not too challenging
10.Church organ and sax w/solo fem singer, short
13.Church organ, sax, piano and full choir, a toe-tapper.
14.Great story and song mix, very Blues Brothers.
