another album of pretty straightforward electronica. nothing super original here but nothing bad either. most do tend to drag on for a bit too long. this is music for the trendy lounges in the city - order some complicated cocktail served in a martini glass, sit back, and chill. try #1, #2, #6 or #10.
- downtempo with a gentle beat. at times jazzy with quiet vocals. vaguely reminiscent of early dj krush.
- a lush and dramatic start leading into a decent house track after ~1:00. great driving music.
- male vocals - at times warm and soulful, at times robotic - layered over a house beat. i didn't care for this much.
- another good driving tune with a slightly faster, harder, more tech-house beat.
- without the cheesy male vocals, this would be one of the better tracks.
- a chimey dancefloor hit that reminds me of orbital. interestingly chaotic!
- a nice and chill house track. quiet vocals ~2:30.
- heavy beat that chugs along with occasional bursts of keyboard surprises.
- soundscape-esque with a latin feel. track builds up in layers sloooooowly. gets housey ~5:30.
- a fast-talking MC ends the album on a refreshing note.
