This is supposed to be PJ’s return to form. She’s back playing dirty electric guitar songs and moaning and groaning about fucked up love & herself. Does she pull it off? In places, yes. Gritty with a smooth edge, very diverse with some simple acoustic numbers. Its not Rid of Me but its nice to hear her angry again. PLAY!!!

1** Right away dirty guitar & pounding toms. Love the background sounds. Very powerful.
2- Cleaner with coasting electro-ish drums. Simpler in form.
3* Dirtyness again. Rockin FCC will love this one “Fuck” all over the place.
4* Simple Percussion leads the way. Sounds like a gypsy chant. Cool clean guitar.
5** The single from the record. Great baratone guitar riff and syncopated drums. Rockin’
6- Sounds like newer PJ, keyboard driven.
7* Heavily strummed acoustic and vox start. Strong, simple, & short.
8- Here comes the dingy grind sound. Full band, dirty. Lyrics are silly.
9- PJ goes Worldbeat with marimbas.
10* Simple straight beat with piano melody. Dirty bass swells up. Cool groove
11- Harmonica and distant keys. Very odd ditty.
12** Simple and sad. Acoustic and singing. Very dark.
13- Seagulls?
