Spacious melancholy waltzes from a large band. Very
relaxing and instrumental. The album title is well
chosen. There are few big crescendoes but some high
drama in here. Very good for those evenings when
you missed an opportunity to carpe diem the sucker.
Compare to Godspeed You Black Emperor!, Sigur Ros
1) luscious spacious w/small orcehstra, healing waters 4:37
2) slow progression keeps threatening to build,
stays mellow with low key improvs 15:23
3) slide guitar waltz has out west feel 7:32
4)* Mermen/Radiohead waltz, swells after awhile, slows to dramatic/romantic electronica 17:03
5)* adds violin for max sadness, rallies and sinks back 9:45
6) vibrato organ shords in, violin cries, triumphs, finds peace
with its fate, loves again, passionately 21:24
