Supercool international collection of all girl, or mostly girl, bands that all rawk. Styles range from glammy power pop, punk, to garage to electrorock, but they all have in common one thing: no frilly girlie pap, only tough chicks allowed. Bands are culled from all over the world, sing primarily in English but Japanese and Italian spring up. All tracks are GREAT.
1) amped up glammy 70’s slick hard rock, like L7 on crank
2) poppier vocals, garagier rock
3) LA punk 2/4 swingy feel
4) poppy punk, “slow children”, upbeat
5) glammy slick Ramones’ish
6) cool dark toned, interesting composition/arrangement, creative, not standard 4/4
7) slower sparser psychey garage feel, but different
8) straight up power pop punk
9) balls, er, tits out garage punk
10) sassy, dirty rock
11) 2/4 upbeat punky, cool efx on vocs
12) raw garage rock, smoking
13) garagy, but slick
14) sung in Italian, this electrorock piece is quite different from the rest, fits in with Cobra Killer or Peaches more than say the Muffs
15) upbeat driving scathing punky rock
16) FCCs in chorus, no no
17) power pop punk, FCC “fuck you” at the very last second of song so pot down quick
18) swingy, “cute”, boogie
19) starts doomy and dark, picks up as a rocker
20) fun feel, halting, with comical “girlie” vocs
