What can I say about Frog Eyes, I discovered them at KZSU and I have been hooked on them ever since. They are one of the most demented and unique bands I have EVER heard. Think David Bowe on and enormous amount of Mushrooms, then drink 2 forty’s and smoke a joint and you’ll be in the mindset. Twisted Carnival Cabaret chaos. Lots of Keys and twangy guitars, but its all about Carey Mercer’s fucked up dramatic vocals and stories. This record touches me in an icky place, but I like it daddy. See cover for more detail.
