Champaign-Urbana's (Illinois) balls-out rockers have been doing it since 1987. They have toured with and opened for every band you can think of... from Fugazi to the Breeders. Their performances are just nothing but balls-out rock. I would dare to say that the Poster Children were the Fastbacks of the mid-west. In this EP, inspired by the freedom-loving administration of Bush and Chaney, they recorded six punk covers (from the 1980s) of what could just easily be characterized as subversive anti-American terrorist propaganda. This is like every other distasteful punk song that tried to undermine Ronald Reagan's effort to protect America from the imminent threat of communism. Don't play this or else you may find yourself in Alaska! You damn right... you spoiled liberal freaks! In Alaska...
Play 2, 5, 1, 4
1. Classic punk. The Clash. Say no more.
2. Awesome rocking post-punk number. Noisy post-punk keyboards, and agit punk percussion. WE DON'T NEED THIS FASCIST GROOVE THING!!!!
3. A cover of X's The New World. Classic X. Punk with power popy melodies.
4. LET'S HAVE A WAR. Another punker from the 80s LA punk scene. Militant mood.
5. Fuck yeah! Do you remember this one? Husker Du's DIVIDE AND CONQUER. Awesome balls-out punk. Into the mosh-pit.
6. This one belongs to XTC;
80s British New Wave. Dark rock with chaotic/psychotic vocals.
