Sugary, pink and fluffy pop from Sweden reminiscent of Stereolab, St. Ettiene, Belle and Sebastian. Unsophisticated 60's feel, slickly produced, pleasant but with no surprises.
All tracks female vocals with male and female backing, keyboard, guitar. Most tracks are short 2-3 minutes. It all sounds about the same, so recommendations are not particularly meaningful, but I liked (in this order):
(9), (1), (6), (10)
*(1) Nice, apparently this is the "single" off this album... boy-girl pop jaunt
(2) Upbeat, seat-bopping cuteness.
(3) Too sickly sweet for it's own good.
(4) Slower, more introspective (but still fluff).
(5) Same same, la la nah nah nah nah, girly harmonizing.
*(6) Sinister intro lapses back into 4/4 pop, jingly guitars, toe-tapping.
(7) Weakest track on the album. Male vocals. Pretty awful.
(8) Spacey synthesizer.
**(9) A little more sophisticated. Definitely pleasing.
*(10) Sunny.
(11) Yuck. Falls flat. Jangling guitar accompanies male-female, sooo boring.
