Great techno-y pop. All the songs are excellent and very pop-py or happy. She has a clear but dreamy voice. And the electronic stuff they use really complements that. Most of the stuff is pretty lush and is midtempo or fast. Track Seven blew me away but all are great. PLAY!
Track One: Starts off a little electronic-y and soft. Lo-fi. Soft, breathy fem vox. The techno beat comes in. Dreamy new age pop.
Track Two: Crescendo opening. Kind of foreboding. builds on itself. Turns into another dance-y sing along. A little more upbeat.
Track Three: Cool electronic slides. Kind of like being in an old Mario game. Cute fem voice. Snaps! Abrupt ending.
Track Four: Quiet introspective intro and then full out techno-pop. Strong beat. Vox is clear but dreamy at the same time.
Track Five: Driving beat. V. pretty vox with long held notes. Mellow but upbeat at the same time. Seems a little more introspective than the rest. But really happy.
Track Six: Something about this song just makes you want to jump around. Great vox solo in the middle and then return to a little bit of ambient noise.
Track Seven: OH MY GOD! Great harp beginning sounds like some love song or some song I’ve heard before but can’t quite place. Then goes into techno-y pop song. So good.
Track Eight: Kind of foreboding opening again. Then mellow vox and beat. She holds onto the words creating a really good lingering effect.
Track Nine: Horn background. She sounds a little more desparate in this one that might just be me. Background vox that fades in and out. Sparse ending compared to rest of lush song.
Track Ten: Amazing chorus that just bursts out of a fairly low-key verse. Again with the dreamy princess. Seems like it should be the soundtrack to a modern fairytale. Repitition of vocals
Track Eleven: Industrial train/vaccum cleaner sound at the beginning. Starts off with beat, then vox, than more instrumentals. More experimental than the rest.
