straight-up guitar based post rock with some organ/bells. all your favorite post-rock conventions: instrumental, soft-loud build-release style, long band name. interweaving guitar lines strongly resemble explosions in the sky. organ helps keep things interesting, otherwise there’s nothing too surprising here. pretty solid and accessible, recommended if you like post rock, especially EITS.
PICKS: 5, 7, 3 FCC CLEAN
1. (6:47) bounces between soothing and urgent/suspenseful
2. (5:29) organ/rhodes over jilted drums, uneasy/longing
3. (3:43) spacey textures over slow drums, ambient feel
4. (5:06) layers of guitars and organs, curious puppy love atmosphere
5. (6:36) sweet organ, lots of layers. like late night traveling
6. (2:27) winding guitar line with organ, like sped up labradford
7. (4:33) uplifting, lots of life. like leaving the runway
8. (3:53) uneasy and nervous, not much melody. like turbulence
9. (8:26) horns reminiscent of GYBE, reflective. like saying goodbye and leaving the airport
