Re-release of late 80’s NYC heavy hardcore metal crossover, Motorhead meets Discharge. Interesting presence of woman vocalist, usually as counterpoint to male or dueling. Most songs have that 2/4 thrash-gallop beat. No guitar wankery however a few “leads” here and there. Very intelligent, political lyrics. No FCCs. Great stuff.
1) heavy rock, upbeat dueling male female vocs
2) big tom tom tribal intro
3) epic, acoustic guitar enters in bridge giving this a dramatic metal flare
4) upbeat 2/4 near thrash, male vocals only
5) upbeat 2/4 near thrash with heavy breakdown at end, male vocals only
6) 2/4 thrash gallop
7) spacey noisey intro, then tribal heavy doom rock follows
8) thrashy upbeat with female vocs only
9) grungey mean dark rockin w/ male/fem duel
10) dark gothy guitar chords as intro into epic venture
11) upbeat 2/4 gallop rock
12) thrashy, female vocals only
13) male/fem duet, with a Sabbath riff about it, dark and doomy tom tom tribal
14) upbeat rocking really hard, female vocs only
15) 2/4 upbeat gallop, fem vocs only
16) hard 2/4 thrash rock
17) big epic metal intro to 2/4 hardcore tame beat
18) 2/4 hardcore feel w/ tough guy vocs, switching w/ female vocs (cool!), with a switch to a Clash’y reggae/ska thing done nicely
19) very punk/hardcore feel in the production, 2/4 speed, the girl sounds extra sassy
20) minor doomy rock, male/fem trade-off vocs
21) 2/4 fast hardcore, male/fem vocs
